Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Gained a fantastic insight into Tech Consulting, the various divisions and the work they do for clients. Worked on a real project alongside other interns and produced a presentation. Networked with various employees across the firm, including partners. Learned about the culture of the firm, how they operate and different areas of the business.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was very insightful as I learned a lot about roles I'd never considered before. I was able to think more about what best aligns with my specific interests and what I'd be most suited to. I also learned more about professional qualifications and career progression.

I developed my public speaking skills whilst presenting the project I worked on to other interns and employees at the firm. I also enhanced my Excel and Powerpoint skills by completing online training.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I found the culture very welcoming and inclusive. Everyone I met was friendly and went out of their way to help you. Overall had a very good atmosphere.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

Overall I really enjoyed the insight and thought it was a very positive experience. Definitely learned a lot about the firm and the division but do wish I could have developed more technical skills.
