Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
There was a lot of variety in terms of the work I was assigned. There was administrative work in terms of filling and processing forms and requests and drafting emails to clients, but also a lot of exposure to projects that my colleagues were working with and the opportunity to help solving those matters.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I've had opportunities such as explaining ideas to a client directly, and drafting important letters which ended up being used in the project.

The key skill I developed were communication skills (i.e. how to simplify complex ideas, clarity and presenting), proactivity, commercial awareness and proficiency in excel.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I felt particularly supported by the 'buddy' system in place during my internship, since it was a comfortable and easy way of seeking guidance and support throughout when I felt like I needed. My other colleagues were usually also very willing to help if I sought guidance.
