Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Sourcing external data from outsource partners, sending parcels, running and reporting informal DoDs, assisting with labelling and general organisation, sampling during PERC runs in the pilot plant.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I would prefer more discussion on the direction of my project, I feel I don't know enough about relevant contacts/what is expected of me.

Developing my microsoft office capabilities and communication internally and externally.
Learnt how to safely sample from various outlets in coffee liquor production.
Learning how different coffees lie in different areas of the flavour space and how certain areas are preferred in certain countries (dependant on bean selection)

Everyone is really friendly and is willing to provide support but I don't know enough to know specific questions to ask for help - more background knowledge would be useful.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I would prefer to be more hands on in labs rather than data processing as it relates more to what I am studying as part of my degree. I cannot fault the atmosphere though, very comforting and relaxed to encourage productivity
