Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
More senior staff explain audit tasks to you, predominantly testing in the execution stage, for you to complete. This provides hands on client experience and there is the opportunity to interact with clients and attend client sites too.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
More senior staff gave clear instructions regarding how to carry out audit tasks. They answered any questions and gave a good level of independence.

I've developed my understanding of what audit entails, developing skills related to this. This opportunity is perfect for anyone deciding whether this career is for them. You learn how to work as a team in a professional setting and build a rapport with more senior staff.

I built a good rapport with my teams on projects, who provides lots of support. I was also supported by my People Manager and the Early in Careers team.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed it and developed really good relationships with my fellow interns and other staff. I hope I get an offer to come back on the graduate scheme next year!

Go for it! Its got a really inclusive culture and a lovely place to work. On the graduate scheme, you complete your professional qualification (ACA) too, which is worth having.
