The role gives a good hands on approach to learning and is a great step into the world of engineering.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it thoroughly as you get to work with experienced people who are happy to share there knowledge with you.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

CAD, Welding, Communication, Mechanical, Electrical, Soldering, PLC's, Hand Fitting, Fluid Power, Electro pneumatics.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is pretty well organised with there being a plan that we follow throughout our time on the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
There is as much support as you would ever need here and they are always there to speak to if you are struggling along with a vast array of charities and people you can contact should you wish to speak to someone in a more private environment or about a certain topic.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They are very experienced and you can ask them plenty of questions and they will help and support your learning.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are always progress meetings to check on how things are going and it is always made clear that if we ever need anything then we can always go to them.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are some charity events but other than that no sports teams which is really dissapointing. i would like to see something like this in the future

Its a great place to gain knowledge build your understanding and speak with experienced people in a well known business. it is a great place to work for and even if you dont stay it gives you a good chance for anywhere else you may go.
