Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working alongside the tax team, doing various calculations, writing letters, such as engagement and disengagement letters etc., making calls and attending internal and client meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given lots of important documents and calls to handle, however, I was not afraid to ask questions and ask to proof read, as I wanted to deliver the work up to a high standard.

I have received lots of support during my internship. People in the tax department have made me feel welcomed and supported from the first day. They always encouraged me to develop my knowledge and skills by providing help and guidance when I was in doubt.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I really enjoyed coming to the office purely because I loved the atmosphere in there. I have build good relationships with people. The team is very friendly and welcoming.
