Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Travel to client site or stay in the office to do some audit work, checking the accounts and spreadsheets, working with different teams for different projects and doing some mandatory trainings sessions online.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Since I do not know much about accounting, I was not given a lot of complicated stuff, but I also need to take some responsibility for the tasks that they gave me.

Yes, I learnt a lot of new stuff for accounting and also some excel tricks, I also learned how to communicate with my colleagues and how to work better as a team.

I received a lot of support, all my colleagues are very nice and they are willing to teach me when I have doubts. The trainings on workday is also very helpful.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I love the unifying culture that everyone is so accepting even though my race is different from them, they are very patient when explaining stuff to me since English is not my mother tongue. The atmosphere was great, they tried to get me involved even though I was new there.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed it very much! It was the best internship I have ever had since I feel like I am contributing to the team. I had so much fun there for the past 6 weeks.
