Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day I manage the running of shifts, as well as ensuring we perform as a business looking at three different aspect people, place and food. Ensuring they’re all aligned so we can get the best out of ourselves
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme was really straightforward in how it ran, both nandos and life time were supportive through the process and still are now in my new one. They really help grow and foster knowledge to ensure you succeed to your best ability. But the encouragement to continue doing them has stuck with me me as I’m now on my second apprenticeship

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I apply my knowledge and what I learn on my course to day to day working life to ensure that I’m constantly fostering new ways of working and management techniques and always applying new skills I learn to real life situation

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very organised from the start and there’s always support there if there’s a hiccup in the road to get you back on track. They’ll never let you fail!
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Whether it’s my manager or my central apprenticeship coordinator, they’re so helpful. Specifically the people centrally, any issues always willing to help as-well as aiding us with off the job ideas etc
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training providers provide immense support even if their work load is beyond capacity. Always helpful and very thourough/ consistent with their works
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have been able to learn and adopt new skills and method which has enhance my management ability in aiding to them run the business effectively alongside my fellow managers and colleagues
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Social activities are always encouraged, aswell as planned fun trips and events which gets people socialising and networking so you browser yourself outside your 4 walls
