Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I work with the Lean Agile Centre of Excellence team to guide the transformation to Agile ways of working. We work with numerous teams throughout the organisation, supporting and training on tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and drive strategic improvement. I manage projects to look at process improvements, and support other team members in their roles.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have been given opportunities that an entry level position wouldn't provide, and the positioning of the LACE team means that I have gained insight into the roles of teams across the organisation. My apprenticeship qualification is in Lean Six Sigma, and I also have the opportunity to gain SAFe certification and learn about Agile principles alongside Lean.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
A wide range, from presentation skills to data collation, using various tools and software, methodologies. I'm also given the ability to experiment and learn from my mistakes

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
There was a change made to the programme within the first three months, however this specific apprenticeship role is new, and the change was made to reflect the length of time required for the college project, and shows the dedication to ensuring that the programme works well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have various avenues of support, from a few different teams. My line manager and wider team are all very supportive, as is my apprenticeship co-ordinator, and we have a well-being team available for all to reach out to.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The qualification is directly related to my role and I am already using the skills learned outside of the project required for the qualification.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Numerous different ways to do this, both specific to our organisation and with our 'sister' organisation we share a building with.
