Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I specialise in digital solutions for Pharmacy at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust handling areas like software development, automation and data analysis to push the directorate into a more digital front. I develop, test and publish new solutions like power applications, manage data to highlight important analytics and support the directorate in making better data driven decisions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy my job very much. I am in a role where I feel important and push the directorate into a more digital environment. I am able to be creative and also feel very supported my management and my colleagues.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have gained much knowledge and skills since I have started my apprenticeship. The support from my organisation and BPP university has really helped to look at my workplace and identify digital solutions and apply the right skills to ensure the solutions effectiveness and adoption.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The apprenticeship provides a good approach to apply the right learning and give me time to adapt my knowledge and skills within the workplace. I have regularly reviews with my coach to see how well the apprenticeship is going and see what support I may need.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have a lot of support from my employer with my apprenticeship and how can I get the most from my degree and the skills and knowledge I am developing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I feel like I am able to contact my training provider (BPP) at any time to help support my development and work towards my degree. I have a coach that I meet with regularly and can contact at any time for further support but I am also able to contact my tutors for more specific queries with my modules.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The knowledge and skills I have gained from my apprenticeship are vital to my role and have helped to push digital solutions further in my directorate and how to manage them properly.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are many social activities within my organisation, not too many in my directorate itself. Due to my busy schedule, it is not something I take part in at the current time but maybe once my apprenticeship is complete.
