Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Prepare tax returns and ad-hoc low level advisory work. Communicate with clients and other members of the team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy the studying aspects and being able to manage myself to all the deadlines that come along with doing an apprenticeship.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
My technical knowledge has grown since I started along with my confidence and communication skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Overall the programme is well planned, however where CBEs have all been passed prior to written papers. In the event of any failures these may run out and need re-taking.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
From the offset I have had weekly catch ups with my line manager. As I have grown into my role this has been reduced, and we catch up as and when we need to.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I always get amazing support from my skills coach, if I have any questions she is always on hand to help me or find out the answer.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I am learning the technical knowledge at college and gaining practical experience at work, together they are assisting each other.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I have been involved in the social committee in the Reading office, planning some activities for everyone. I was also tasked with planning the student social for our new intake in October 2025. We have annual Summer and Christmas parties which are always fun to get to see people from different offices and services lines.
