Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
As an HR Apprentice at Best Care Liverpool, my role involves supporting the HR team with a range of administrative and employee-related tasks that help the organisation run effectively. On a day-to-day basis, I assist with maintaining employee records, updating HR systems, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. I also support recruitment processes, which can include helping organise interviews, reviewing applications, and preparing onboarding documentation for new starters. Another part of my role is supporting compliance by checking right-to-work documentation and ensuring employee information meets legal and company requirements. I may also assist with responding to staff queries, helping managers with HR processes, and supporting the team with tasks related to training, absence monitoring, and employee relations. Through this role I am developing practical HR skills, gaining an understanding of workplace policies, and learning how HR supports both employees and management within the organisation.
