Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

It's amazing at SCARAB. As I was told in the interview, there is no same-day work here, which is true. Some of the things I've done this week: posted content for the social media, sent off parcels around the UK, last two days went on a photoshoot in the Merlin 55 and E2 and today did some editing of the photos.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love it here; the environment and people are amazing. I also love the automotive industry, so being surrounded by mini trucks and big trucks is the best way to my heart. I also want to be part of cleaning the planet. Given the current state of the planet, I want to be part of cleaning up the messes across many countries.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, my new skills help in the social media department. how to use Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, AI and After Effects. Which I use it every day in my role, and have been using it outside of work too. Some developing skills are organisation and having complete control over events and dealership meetings.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My program is really very organised, my boss made a spreadsheet with months and goals through each month, and we have weekly reviews on what's going on, as well as a monthly one too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I get really good support from my employer, who guides me through what I need to do with clear instructions, and he is very good at understanding the learning difficulty I have (Dyslexia). Whenever I need help, I am very happy to ask for his support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

He does give me the help through and explains to me what things mean and gently pushes in the right direction for me figure out myself.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification is really helping me through my work because of the laws that I have learnt through it, as well as understanding how our audience is and how to push my work towards them, and them interacting back.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, I am involved in the EcoVardis program, which is for a sustainability rating platform, and we are currently on a Silver, but hopefully this year, we will get Gold with a few new things coming up.

Would you recommend Scarab Sweepers to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It's has a great environment, the people are very friendly, there is a large amount of people that work here in many different departments, there is lots of support from many people, not just a desk job, there are a lot of different things, and each department is split out so there is nothing to be confused about.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Scarab Sweepers?
Be confident and stand out as SCARAB is a very different market compared to many others.
