Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day-to-day basis, I manage and schedule social media content, supporting fundraising campaigns and events, and communicating with supporters and participants. I also help maintain fundraising records, assist with event planning, and create engaging content to highlight the impact of our programmes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed the programme and felt supported throughout, both in my work and my learning. The team also helped me explore opportunities and secure a role after completing the programme.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have improved my communication and organisational skills by working with colleagues, fundraisers, and external partners, while gaining experience in social media management, content creation, and fundraising campaign support. I have also become more confident using tools such as Canva and social media scheduling platforms, as well as managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

I have had clear responsibilities within my role while also receiving support from my team and regular check-ins to support my development. This structure has helped me build confidence, develop new skills and understand how my work contributes to the wider organisation.

I have also had regular check-ins and feedback, which has supported my development and learning. This supportive environment has made it easier to balance my work responsibilities alongside my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They have provided regular check-ins, guidance on assignments and clear feedback to help me improve my work. Whenever I have had questions or needed clarification, they have been available to support me and ensure I stay on track with my progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The learning has supported areas such as communication, organisation, and managing tasks effectively, which I apply in my day-to-day work. It has also helped me reflect on my work and identify ways to improve how I approach tasks and responsibilities.
