Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day-to-day basis, I have done some tasks like the one we do as analyst in team. I participated in the drafting of marketing documents, I followed the process of several M&A deals, I did some research, I contributed to build some section of a business plan in Excel. I really learned a lot and it was amazing experience.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, it was really interesting and challenging to have responsibilities. I really appreciated the fact that the team trust me and really tried to expose me at the maximum.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I learned a lot thanks to this internship. First, I reinforced my skills in terms of Excel and PowerPoint. I also reinforce qualities such as rapidity and rigor. Concerning the soft skills, this internship really reinforced my interpersonal skills as I met a lot of different people. It was amazing to learn and get to know a lot of different people with various backgrounds.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I think I receive sufficient guidance, as at the beginning I received more guidance than after that it is really normal. I really appreciated the fact that the team really adapt and not give to much or not enough guidance.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I really like the people and the culture. I find that the culture is healthy, that there is less hierarchy than elsewhere. I also appreciated the fact that the people were all very welcoming, they all took the time, they were all very open and very kind. I think it is a really good place to evolve and grow

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really really appreciated my internship. It was an amazing experience, I learned a lot, I met a lot different people, all that in a really good atmosphere and I would really love to continue evolving here and in this job and continue to progress, learn and be part of this culture

Call some members of UBS, to really feel the culture. I talked to a lot of persons working from UBS, and all were very very kind, took the time, gave really helpful advice and really allow me to discover this amazing culture
