A bus driver safely transports passengers along set routes, following traffic laws and schedules. They complete vehicle safety checks, assist customers with fares and enquiries, and ensure accessibility for all passengers. Bus drivers must stay alert, manage time effectively, handle delays calmly, and prioritise safety, professionalism, and reliable service at all times.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have strengthened my communication and customer service skills by interacting with passengers daily. I’ve improved my time management and decision-making through maintaining schedules and handling traffic conditions. I’ve also developed greater patience, resilience, and situational awareness while ensuring safety and professionalism at all times.

I definitely feel that was the case, because of the support I performed well. Passed everything first time, and everyone was lovely.
