Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a team, we look through code and try to put it together to make it working. We then do individual learning later on in the day.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it because it is flexible as in, I am able to choose whether I want to work in office or not and decide what individual learning I am struggling on the most and do after the session where we are all together

I am so much better at coding using javascript, typescript, java, html, and css

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The timetable is very clear on what I need to be doing and when and this is chose by the team as a whole so it suits them best.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

Whenever I have an issue I go to my line manager and he usually solves or plans to solve it very quickly

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I do my learning through an external provider and I am able to receive support 1-to-1 whenever and ask questio ns about my learning to get towards my end qualification

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to take the knowledge that I have learnt to my team and if someone may not know something in te code, I am able to help more and more each day

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a 'how to solve it' which my line manager does on the start of the week and it teaches us how t solve problems and break them down.

Why?

I have been greeted very well to the team and they have supported me throughout my journey so far and the training provider set me reasonable deadlines and fairly challenging tasks to complete.
