Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
The apprenticeship’s structure, 80% practical work and 20% off‑the‑job training, has been especially valuable. It enabled me to apply what I learned across different modules directly into my daily work, and also giving me time to study for my EPA.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
Ginger Nut also conducts mock EPA assessments, which has really helped me understand what to expect and feel more confident. If they notice that my off‑the‑job training entries are not sufficient, they let me know straight away and support me in getting back on track.
Overall, the level of support has been consistently excellent.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
