Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

To carry out tasks regarding the audit engagement. Essentially checking and updating documents. Attend meetings, working with new people, travel around the country for events and client meetings, etc. Also using specific software.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I believe i was given a lot of responsibility. Being exposed to sensitive information and the expectation to be professional and keep information confidential etc.

Be yourself. Nobody is expecting you to be a genius on day 1 or at the end of the program. Be involved in any work you are put on, ask questions, and talk to as many people as you can.
