Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was a summer intern within the Large & Complex Private Capital business unit. We supported a PE-backed entity with sensitivity and variance analysis, forecasting, risk assessments, due diligence, recurring revenue testing and more.
I was shown how to do tasks and given responsibility to complete them, with help whenever needed.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
We were given a good amount of autonomy and responsibility when work was available. However, the amount of work available was very limited, so a lot of time was spent doing individual research and upskilling.

The first week was introductory and included mostly training. Beyond that, we were trained through members of our team and they were very accommodating.
