Yes, as a lot of the work I was conducting was actually used by Deloitte and/or for the client, and I was responsible for completing the work adequately before deadlines.

Definitely. I have learnt how to communicate professionally and further developed my team working skills. I have improved in my natural confidence but also in my ability to grasp new concepts quickly.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I was really supported throughout my whole internship, mainly from my buddy who helped me settle in and was always there to answer any questions I had. Also from other colleagues in my team, they were there to help me aswell.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my internship, mainly due to how much exposure I received. I was able to connect with many different people aswell, who made my experience memorable. I also liked the fact I learnt skills that you can only get from completing the internship.

What advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte

Research the company and your role especially, so you really get a feel of what working at Deloitte is like. In terms of the application process when completing the tasks, really try and imagine yourself in the situation, so you are able to showcase how you would actually act.
