Overall, how would you describe your experience at Arup?
Overall, my experience at Arup has been empowering and rewarding. The environment fosters development in a wide range of skills through collaboration and exposure to diverse projects, which makes every day both interesting and intellectually stimulating. I’ve had the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to impactful work, and that sense of purpose has been incredibly motivating. Overall, it’s been a journey that combines challenge with support, making it a truly enriching experience.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My main responsibilities involve carrying out tasks that contribute to achieving project milestones and overall goals. This includes collaborating with team members, applying technical knowledge, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality and time expectations. What I enjoy most about the role is the sense of progress and purpose. Working toward clear objectives and seeing how each task fits into the bigger picture is both motivating and rewarding. It is empowering to know that my contributions help drive projects forward and create tangible outcomes.

My line manager provides clear direction and regular feedback, ensuring I stay on track with my development goals. Additionally, my team manager is very supportive, creating an environment where I feel comfortable asking for help and contributing ideas. Overall, this level of support makes the experience empowering and rewarding, and it helps me learn efficiently while feeling valued.
