Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Collected data to use for fieldwork from the client and worked through audit working paper to ensure a complete was done. Mainly focused on longer but simpler tasks as I was an associate. Communicated with clients regarding any queries that we had and had completion meetings once the audit was complete
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I was given a fair amount of responsibility as we were a small team everyone had a fair amount of responsibility. By the end of the placement I was able to conduct a small audit on my own which was being overseen by a manager.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Yes developed excel skills as mine were poor at the start. Also learnt how to communicate with clients effectively and clearly in a professional manner. Worked well within a team and learnt how to balance multiple jobs at once

I received plenty of guidance and support from both the university and also my line manager from work. This helped me settle in well and I was able to communicate any issues I had with both my line manager and the university without any hesitation
