Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I engaged with participants from a wide range of backgrounds; young people, older adults, and vulnerable groups, to ensure inclusive, accessible events. I supported the planning and delivery of community arts and wellbeing activities, preparing materials and projects for the workshops and events. Overall I gained experience in arts administration, safeguarding best practice, and inclusive facilitation techniques.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given the responsibility to help prepare and create projects/ activities for the public in there workshops, as well as the responsibility of looking out for the wellbeing of all people involved who were considered vulnerable.
