Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was involved in general studio activities; such as cutting fabric, pattern copies, pattern amendments, toile production, organisation of fabrics and trims, market research and fabric sourcing.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given responsibility in my general tasks each day and also with selection of fabric and trims when buying from suppliers.

I received a good amount of guidance through the placement from my studio manager, he was always available to answer my questions and guide me through tasks when unsure.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I loved my placement as I got to meet lots of new people, both other interns and professional contacts. I learnt a lot and gained many new skills, as well as proving my own abilities to myself.
