Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As an intern, we would complete compliance procedures on Smaller Authorities, completing 3-6 files per day.
This would include speaking to parish clerks, communicating with team management and being introduced to audit and assurance regulations.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A lot of responsibility was given in regard to how independently we would work on our tasks as well as partaking in group projects where it was vital to work with limited guidance from Team management - it was incredibly self driven.
