Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day to day basis I work with Insurance providers and agencies that are external to the company to create products and assets for our retailers. I also help with the set up of events for ALPHERA Financial Services which occur every now and again.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was treated as part of the team like a full time employee.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have gained many new skills. My confidence is so much better from when I started. I have learnt how to keep organized and also time keeping. Being in a corporate environment has also taught me how to write emails and communicate in a better manner.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere is relaxed. Dress code is be yourself (but appropriate). Everyone is super friendly and the office is a nice environment to work in.
