Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Most of the time I machine different parts required for use in the T&D lab, I have also aided with testing several different components for the car, such as: front wings, wheel guns and the driver cooling system

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying the programme so far as everyone is very welcoming and each day is different.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my machining skills already by a large margin due to great instruction from Charlie Wells as well as learning how to use a variety of different software such as SAP

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My Programme is well structured as I have seen the first 90 day programme and know exactly what to expect.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is a wide range of different support that I can receive when learning in my role and within my personal life. I feel like this is the most support an employer could offer their employees.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I am yet to start at MK college so I have just put 3 stars for now

There are many different societies that are available for me to access and there are always different events being planned

The environment and support is unmatched, also the food in the hub is amazing

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team?

The assessment day may feel daunting as there are 4 interviews, however you just need to remember that everyone that works here has been through the same process and they are very friendly and willing to help you
