Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Contributing to the development of the team’s commercial strategy through competitive benchmarking, market analysis, and the identification of new revenue opportunities. Supporting the sponsorship sales process through research and rights ideation, while also providing administrative assistance across areas such as gifting and SAP.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes! I was trusted with owning certain tasks from early on, and my responsibilities grew over time. Taking initiative was always encouraged, and my team was supportive of me getting involved in projects that aligned with my interests.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Absolutely, I’ve developed and strengthened a wide range of both soft and hard skills. My confidence in communication and overall understanding of workplace best practices improved significantly. I also enhanced my proficiency in Excel, SAP, and various market research platforms.

A ton! I was lucky to have a very supportive manager and team throughout my placement, always willing to put in extra time and effort to help me grow in my role.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Welcoming from day one, with a strong sense of passion evident throughout the team. I appreciated the team’s commitment to making well-being initiatives and resources available to all employees. Overall, I can’t speak more highly of everyone I had the chance to interact with at this company!
