Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Network Rail?
The grad scheme provide freedom to graduates. In the first 6 months, grads have the privilege to do a business familiarisation. We could arrange placements with different teams which is not limited to our own business area. For instance, I am an engineering grad but I also spent some time with operations and finance. The company also provides several networking events for grads.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
For maintenance, we monitor railway asset condition and arrange maintenance work. As for projects, we communicate with different stake holders to make sure everyone is on the same page.
