Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a year-in-industry student I was placed in the Electrical & Plant Regional Asset Management team who are responsible of all electrified equipment in Scotland.
My role was to support the senior asset engineer responsible for overhead line equipment, and their team, performing a variety of tasks that helped support understanding of the railway network and its functions.

Some, mainly managing and reviewing databases of information to support ongoing works.
