Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at British Airways?
Very positive, we have a lot of fluidity within engineering with the 6 month rotations so are able to see many different facets of the organisation within the 2 years on the scheme.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Responsibilities change depending on the rotations you end up doing, you could end up working as part of a global supply chain, ensuring materials reach aircraft being worked on in time - whether in the UK or abroad. Or you could end up planning in all the maintenance for the different fleets and putting together the scope of work that needs to be done during an input to ensure the aircraft remains compliant and airworthy. As graduates are also heavily involved in future graduate recruitment, going to universities and schools to spread the message of the scheme.
