Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Assisting planners in their shutdown projects. Assisting the management of shutdowns. Implementing new technologies and processes into the planning workflow and creating tools to assist planners in their day to day work. Each day is different and a wide variety of projects can be undertaken.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Work would not directly influence activity on the line due to the critical nature of a sequential assembly line but work affecting everything else in the assembly building is possible. You are only limited by your own drive to work on larger projects.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is good, the intern structure is well set up with our social year being run well with lots of social events. Office atmosphere is relaxed and positive.

Apply to as many positions within plant Oxford as you would can find, doing so will increase your chances of success in any one position and all positions are ran well as far as I have seen.
