Overall, how would you describe your experience at British Airways?
An excellent experience, with significant training and development focus, both at the start of the scheme and ongoing. Opportunity to make a real impact on significant initiatives from the start, and engage with colleagues across the business and at all levels. A welcoming and supportive work environment, and clear progression steps available.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Main responsibilities have been conducting analysis, creating data visualisations and dashboards, developing models, including with machine learning, clearly communicating findings and ensuring products provide real insights into the business problems and stakeholder needs. I have had the opportunity to work with various stakeholders across British Airways, and some outside of the business, to support large transformation and investment projects.

Why?
Very enjoyable experience so far, and the support for my own personal development has exceeded all expectations. Very reasonable expectations of work and a welcoming work environment, which is open to anyone with the ability to learn - unlike many roles, there is not an expectation for you to know everything before you start!
