Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working with experienced team members to carry out an audit. We worked on a variety of clients, carrying out tasks such as inspecting balance sheets and preparing risk assessments
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - we were given some instruction for each task by our managers, and then were left to get on with it (although we were able to ask questions whenever we were stuck)

There was an initial induction event to develop networking skills. Working on the job has improved my excel and teamwork skills.

There was lots of support - we were encouraged to work in the office which was great because everyone was very friendly and willing to help if you had questions

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very relaxed and supportive - unless you had a client meeting you were welcome to go into the office in smart casual clothes. Everyone was kind and welcoming

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed it. Coming in I didn't have much of an idea about the business, but throughout the internship I gained a good understanding. The best part was definitely the people though - it was a very friendly environment that made working in the office a pleasure
