The team and your personal counsellor and buddy are very supportive. They are happy to answer questions when you have them or to point you to someone who can answer them if they are unable to. You are not expected to know everything when you arrive, and everybody understands when you make a mistake or are confused about something, as long as you show interest and willingness to learn.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is great, as it’s only a 1 month internship, there’s a limited amount of activities you can get involved with, but as a full time employee there are plenty of opportunities and groups with shared interest e.g. sport, film etc. The atmosphere in the office is quite good, however often people work from home so can be a little quiet in your team.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend EY to a friend?
Yes
What advice would you give to others applying to EY
Make sure you pick a service line you have a genuine interest in as you will not be able to change between them and you need to have a real willingness to learn and develop. If you bring this attitude, you can really get a lot out of your time there.
