Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I had the opportunity to contribute to real client work from day 1 This involved completing documentation and participating in meetings with both the team and client. This allowed me to apply my skills in a practical setting.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Everyone in the office was very open and supportive. I received as much support as I required and was encouraged to seek help whenever necessary to complete the work to the highest standard.
Regular check ins with various buddy systems were key in my development, allowing me to understand development areas.
I was able to maximise my experience due to the support from my team.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was collaborative and inclusive, making it easy to connect with team members and feel comfortable asking questions.
There was a strong emphasis on communication and everyone was encouraged to share their thoughts and perspectives, no matter what level of seniority.
The positive company culture made my internship a rewarding experience.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. The supportive environment made it easy to connect with colleagues and build relationships which contributed to my overall enjoyment. There were numerous learning and development opportunities, along with many Partner networking sessions. In addition to this, various socials were organised. I had a highly positive experience at EY, not only deepening my understanding of the industry but reinforcing my ambition for pursuing a career in this field.
