Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

On a day to day basis my work was always varied. From shadowing other departments to attending meetings with high level managers it was never boring.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

From almost day one i was being involved in several projects and being entrusted to lead meetings within the wider teams. This then expanded to running my own projects and being accountable for its success.

Pretty much every skill has been developed this year. You are always pushing yourself and learning how everything operates. Being able to engage with senior leaders and people outside of your peers is a new skill i have learnt.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture at British Airways is Fantastic. People are very willing to let you come into their areas of the business to learn more as well as always offering to help if you seem to be struggling.
