Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an intern in risk management, a great part of the job is analyzing risks. That is done through different calculations with the help of applications like ARisk, Variance, Python or Excel.
Daily tasks include writing reports, working on projects (for example writing codes, creating presentation) and learning about the different parts of risk management.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I completed two projects completely on my own, where I had to present in front of different teams.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot of new technical skills and got to experience working in banking. The team and other interns where also great, we had multiple social opportunities.
