Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Providing assistance in the finance department to the finance manager, this includes chasing accurate timesheets, approving colleague expenses, raising sales invoices, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, looking in to detailed utilisation data for each colleague and provide info to management of any interesting trends and updating client target performance on a weekly basis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my programme a lot, one reason being is that I now feel more confident in my role as I feel more knowledgeable from what I've learned while studying. Another reason I've enjoyed my programme is that its given me something to work towards and goals to achieve which has kept me focused.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt many new skills since the start of my apprenticeship, I have learned the importance of timesheets and why they are needed in an organisation. I've learned the format and what things need to be in place when preparing sales invoices and then betting them sent out to clients.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think the structure is well organised, it's clear and simple, there is plenty of time given to study and prepare efficiently for each exam and there is much help from BPP for when you feel you're struggling with anything. There is also the BPP account where you can see everything you need to know which is useful.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer in regards to my studying. My manager has given me extra hours or days plenty of times when I have an upcoming exam so I can prepare efficiently and pass the exams. I also get a lot of positive messages from my employer which keeps me motivated.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe my qualification makes me feel more confident in my role as I have my knowledge when dealing with certain issues or queries such as VAT, invoicing and expenses. I also feel as though during my qualificationI have become more knowledgeable in giving advice or communicating with finance people who have more experience than me.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are plenty of different activities to get involved in at work, We have large events twice a year one being during summer and the other being at Christmas. We also have fitness activities organised such as attending the Leeds 10k run and doing charity days where we can give back.

Why?
I would definitely recommend this company to a friend as everybody is very friendly and easy going and working for Fox is the best company I've worked for so far. They give you the freedom to work remotely or in the office so you can have a mixture of both which I LIKE.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fox Agency?
One tip I would give to others applying for Fox Agency is be yourself and not to be too serious and show you personality more than your experience. Fox look for people that are genuine nice people who show drive and passion and strive for the next step in their career.
