Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I process and input payroll, whilst dealing with other compliance forms and helping with any other tasks set to me. I ensure that all information is reported accurately to HMRC and management to inform decision making.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoyed the learning aspects of my apprenticeship, learning to apply my knowledge to my organisation, and see how theories worked in practice. However, communication was sometimes poor.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt new skills and developed existing skills, surrounding leadership and management knowledge and development of personal effectiveness and soft skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Although the degree element was well-structured, feedback and communication often felt limited. When completing EPA tasks, I felt that the process was disorganised and communicated ineffectively, not being seen as a priority by my training provider to complete over the course of the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
My employer allowed me the time to complete my apprenticeship, helping me structure my time and providing me with some new experiences to inform my studies.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training provider supported me very well, particularly in my final year as pressure increased and I struggled with my mental health. This support was invaluable to me as I completed my apprenticeship. Communication was sometimes limited, often due to staffing changes.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel that helps inform my current role, as well as being beneficial to the aspirations I have for my career. The soft skills I was taught will benefit me both personally and professionally.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
No.
