Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Overall on a day to day basis I gain the opportunity to learn while I’m working around the salon, taking off colours and having loads of stylists surrounding me to support me during my learning, aswell as my Educator who is there aswell.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There’s hard days, but you still feel fulfilled and happy that you’ve done them, overall I’ve enjoyed my experience so much.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I knew absolutely nothing about hairdressing before my apprenticeship, however after joining George’s and being with my Educator, I have gained so much knowledge and now i’m approaching my EPA

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It’s very well organised, with detailed target sheets, very detailed reviews, aswell as so many resources online aswell.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have received so much support, personally i’m such a nervous person and very stressed out, however they’ve always understood and supported me through those moments.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

If I ask her anything, it’s done in moments, she’s always found a way to ensure that I’m up to date and i’m prepared for what assessment i’m about to do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me to be able to assist my stylists in order to be able to tone their clients, blowdry, cut, and preform better with my own clients aswell.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
