Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Within my day to day responsibilities, I am required to carry out the compliance checks for mortgage applications, as well as actually submitting the applications.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I look forward to coming into work every day and feel as if I am constantly learning new information. I feel that I am progressing very well within my job role, and settled in very quickly within Heron.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned many new skills during my time at Heron, such as communication skills and technological skills. I have also learned a lot about the housing market and lenders criteria, which I can take forward throughout my career.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I believe that my apprenticeship is structured appropriately to allow me to complete my apprenticeship work as well as my day to day responsibilities within my job role. The company give me enough time to complete my work, and constantly offer me support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my line manager specifically, and I also receive a lot of support from my colleagues around me. Whenever I need help, they are always available to lend a hand. They are extremely patient and recognise that I am still learning.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I recieve enough support from my training provider to allow me to complete my work on time and to a decent standard.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This qualification closely aligns with my day to day responsibilities in Heron. The main area of the course that is beneficial for me is the customer service part, as I interact with customers on a day to day basis.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are plenty extra-curricular activities. We do a lot of charity work and we regularly go for meals and take part in fun activities. I believe that this increases my productivity within work, and gives me a chance to relax after a busy day.
