Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

L&D coordinator for the business, sourcing and overseeing training solutions, booking training, develop training with gaps identified. Regular interactions with management team allowing easier identification of solutions in with current trends or some challenges to overcome. Also administer our LMS and support the business with this.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The program really took me on a journey, its helped future apprentices where really knowing individuals workloads and how they can be effected with seasonality it was having that awareness which has helped to land apprenticeships and have them embraced by learners really looking after them and supporting them.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Lots to learn and continuous development is ongoing, learnt about the apprenticeship programs, the standards and how they run allowing me to promote them within the business giving a sustainable solution for developing and growing our personnel.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Start of apprenticeships and EPA are always rocky, its important to know so learners again are looked after at these crucial points. Apart from that most are well organised but you need to have learner, employer and provider all on the same page for success.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Really supportive, I have been given as much time but aware this was a new developing role for the business. It has made me energised to work towards the same for future learners within the business wanting the same real feel of support whilst on program.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Provider was good, always offered support or the opportunity to knowledge check/clarify, especially in the EPA phase.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Again, new role for the business so it really helped to define the fundamentals of what was needed, having an open mind and a supportive nature ensuring that opinions are objective and not biased in anyway.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, our business try's to put events on where we can socialise away from the pressures of the workplace and really get to know some of our people outside of work.
