Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

No two days are the same, I take on a variety of roles dependant on the schedule of work and company requirements anything from boiler installations to boiler break downs and servicing. My Job is to assist my mentor in whichever task we have.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is very enjoyable as you learn so many different skills everyday on the job and meet many different people

You learn many new skills from team making to underfloor heating to a commercial projects in schools

In terms of college journey it has been very sporadic as tutors are always leaving, In terms of my work place they are very helpful and give support where it’s due.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer and peers/mentors.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Unfortunately the college hasn’t been very supportive as we have been left in limbo due to loads of tutor changes and which has pushed me back my training and college side of things.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Again college side of things hasn’t been very helpful as the numerous tutor changes has paused me from pushing any further.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes in the past we have taken part in charity walks and taking part in more this year, we may also be doing a 6- a side football team during the week at night
