Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work on an IT support desk, I help people with any computer related problems that they experience. I also help with some admin tasks as well as general support and computer related problems around the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme to a large extent. Helping and getting to know people around the business has helped me improve my social skills and the course I'm taking has helped me understand computers more.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

the knowledge I have gained around computers and my IT skills overall have improved massively. Working in a professional environment has also given me valuable experience that I can use for the rest of my career
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It's well organised. I have a learning platform that provides accurate and realistic deadlines for my college work and a timetable for when I need to attend any classes. I'm also given ample time during work hours to complete any work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a good amount of support. They provide me with enough time to complete my work as well as the opportunity to do so at home. They also answer and help me with any questions I have or any topics that I am confused about.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have monthly meetings with my development coach and monthly classes to attend. My coach is also available to contact whenever should I require any advice. Overall, I'd say I receive a good amount of support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel it does improve my performance at work as it provides me with the knowledge required to understand more technical issues. It also provides me with more confidence to talk about more intricate/technical problems.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Although there aren't any as of right now, the idea of this has been thrown around the office a few times.

Yes
Why?
Everybody I work with is pleasant to be around and the company provides a lot of positive benefits. Although it is a professional environment, I do not experience any major pressure to perform above and beyond what I am capable of achieving and therefore feel more comfortable progressing at my own pace.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Liebherr Great Britain Ltd?
I would suggest presenting yourself professionally and accept that you do not know everything. It is okay to make mistakes and as you progress through the apprenticeship, you'll have the chance to learn more
