Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Helping with clients, making sure the clients are looked after offering them drinks and making sure they feel comfortable in the salon, the salon is clean.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy doing the programme learning different skills every week and learning how to do things differently and easier. Being able to enjoy learning while earning, having the best support of the tutors when support is needed

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learning to speed up when doing foils, learning how to foil in different ways for different hair types. Learning how to put layers in and feeling comfortable doing them.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It’s very well organised we have access to out of the jobs so we are able to upload things when we are at work and college. We have a sheet which tells us what we are going to be doing each week
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I’m in a group chat with my tutor employer and all things get put in there to be kept up to date. I have a block i can use when its quiet in the salon top practice cuts on
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We are in a group chat, i have 1-1 threw out my qualification,. We have client days where i get over seen to by my tutor
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Skill have been able to improve much more, I’m able to offer more services than before. Learning about social media and how we can put our selfs out there

I feel like I’ve had the best support being here I’ve learned sol much. The tutors are amazing they are always there when you are struggling with anything.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Exceed Training Company?
To have a salon lined up or already have started at a salon to make it much easier. To put your self out there a lot to show that you are 100% interested
