Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My main responsibility is to work with data for the perpetual inventory team within Physical Logistics. On a day to day basis i pull reports, work on data systems such as PowerBi, SAP and Apex and also run meetings to present the data collected.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My daily tasks are always changing, which keeps the role very interesting, I am also always learning and developing skills. My responsibilities are fairly high, which makes the role even more enjoyable. And finally I get the chance to complete a degree along side work, which creates a great balance and allows me to continuously develop my knowledge
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt and developed new skills around data, such as cleaning, visualisation and presenting. I have also worked on my skills surrounding presentations of a whole this has come through chairing multiple meetings per week, such as the team meeting.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

initially when i first started the programme was slightly unorganised, being the first year to go full time into college before work. However as the programme has developed it has become much more structured. I now know who to contact regarding any help needed, weather its work, college or apprenticeship advice.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive plenty of support from my employer, I always know who to go to for any issues. I have various people regarding different areas of work, weather its placement, university, home department or apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i receive lots of support from Leeds trinity university. They have many different support methods, they have online or in person support. I also have monthly progress reviews where i can recieve any support required
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel it helps a lot, it is very relevant to the areas that I work in and also do placements within, it gives me great knowledge towards the end to end supply chain and so helps me perform much better within my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes theres many activities, such as football, basketball etc. Theres also charity events every now and again to get involved in

it has been one of the best decisions i have made applying for this apprenticeship. The experiences I have gained are very important to my overall career and will help me to strive in the future

Stand out from others, find a way to make yourself different from the other applicants and also be as genuine as possible as it goes a long way.
