Regional Management of 27 centres. Consulting coaching guiding and supporting managers of the sites and their teams on areas of H&S, quality assuarance, MOT scheme compliance, and auditing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Its great, really well managed despite a few slip ups here and there, only downside is the amount of colleagues who started the course who can no longer regularly attend. The tutors are fantastic and is extremely knowledgeable and very approachable.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, self reflection has been a big part of this apprenticeship and has helped me tailor some of my communication methods and techniques and also allow myself to be self aware when I am not in the right frame of mind so I can either try to bring myself round or remove myself from the situation,
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is planned very well in advance however there has been a instance of a complete mis communication causing us to lose a session and that then had to be rescheduled at the last moment also causing me to miss my first live session and watch the recording back.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Work have been fantastic, I have been allowed all the time I need to continue with my learning and time where required to complete my tasks, being field base this has been perfect to fit around my work schedule but all my managers have been extremely supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They are their constantly [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has been fantastic I dont think at any point after emailing her out the blue has she not replied within a couple of hours, she really has been fantastic throughout the process.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A lot of what we are learning I am already doing in my day to day role barring the instances I have mentioned in my earlier question however it is nice to put some names to the theory behind the actions I a, carrying out.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Through this course I have taken part in a Q&A session at support centre relating to this course for future cohourts which was interesting and new and something I am again taking part in in a few months.

Would you recommend Halfords to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They are not the perfect company, however I have always and will always argue that if you put the effort in at Halfords they will give you reward back, given my promotions and rise throuhg the business over 14 years I think it speaks for it self.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Halfords?
Show willing, always be friendly professional and courteous. If you give, they will give back.
