Checking equipment, attending incidents, putting out fires, helping people locked inside or outside buildings, attending car crashes, providing emergency first aid. Carrying equipment, working at height, working in dangerous environments.

Working as a team, working in a stressful environment, first responder training. Working in dangerous environments, working safely at height. Changing the work due to a changing environment.

Very well organised.

The support I received is 2nd to none. Everyone was incredibly supportive, especially due to the personal issues i had during the course.

I believe the training is perfectly suited to the role, and prepares me perfectly for it.

Not during the training, due to the important nature of the course, but once the training is completed, there is a multitude of extracurricular activities available.

Why?
The job is enjoyable, no 2 days are the same, the trainers are amazing and super supportive, and the hours are great.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to London Fire Brigade?
Do it, give it a try. Even if you dont think its for you, you might really enjoy the open day.
